OUR MISSION

1. Provide low/no cost spay and neuters for pets of Cobb County residents in mobile home and other targeted communities.

2. Help place litters of puppies or kittens with rescues after we have spayed and neutered the mom and dad.

3. Provide resource information for medical help and responsible pet ownership information to families in these communities.

WHAT WE DO

Overpopulation is a major factor in animal shelters and rescues. Space is the issue for both.  The best way to keep dogs and cats from becoming labeled “homeless” and going into a shelter is to minimize those numbers through spay/neuter programs.  Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta provides transport to their facility from the location we are working in, and provides our s/n package (which includes the s/n, microchip, rabies and distemper or parvo vaccine, deworming and nail trims).

Our goal in 2021 is to provide a heartworm test to every dog along with the educational information on prevention medicine.  IF the dog is negative, they get a prescription to purchase the heartworm preventative. If the dog is positive, we work with the owners to do the heartworm treatment-we do not leave the dog untreated.  This is a medical expense that we ask for additional donations thru our Facebook page.
